I love how the construction was supposed to take a week. It's been over a month and still, jackhammering at 730 in the morning. I went to bed around 5 for some reason. Now I'm wide awake but also exhausted and they aren't done until about 5pm.

I'm not watching the debate, having my political science teacher bash the President all class today has made me weary to it all and having dad tell me I'm "obsessed" with the election and my stupid political science teacher offending me makes it worse. I'm not obsessed, I'm informed. It's important. How the fuck does being interested in something important make be "obsessed"?! He also called me "fucking stupid" today. As David said: "Pardon me but what an asshole."

I miss my mom. I wish she would come down for just a weekend.

I took a nap at 7:30 and of course Mom forgot to wake me up at 8 like I told her so I just woke up at around 11:40 and I have no hope of getting back to bed until, like, 6am. Damn. I'm really, really bored. I finished a carton of OJ all by myself within two days. GO ME!

Stubborn and hard-hearted. Ambitious and serious. Loves to teach and be taught. Always looking at people's flaws and weaknesses. Likes to criticize. Hardworking and productive. Smart, neat and organized. Sensitive and has deep thoughts. Knows how to make others happy. Quiet unless excited or tensed. Rather reserved. Highly attentive. Resistant to illnesses but prone to colds. Romantic but has difficulties expressing love. Loves children. Loyal. Has great social abilities yet easily jealous. Very Stubborn and money cautious.

Heh. I'm stubborn but I am NOT hard-hearted at all. I hate teaching people since I have no patience... I don't think I look at people's flaws and weaknesses. I am not critical of other people--only myself, and then I am merciless. I am NOT neat and organized. I try to be, but everything gets messy within a week of organizing. I don't know if I'm rather reserved or not--I am VERY shy with someone I just meet, but with friends I get pretty damn crazy. I am NOT resistant to illness...I'm almost always cold-ridden. I don't think I have great social abilities since I'm pretty shy at the get-go, and I'm too much of a geek (read as: aca deca nerd!) to be able in social situations. Money cautious, I guess, I always go, "No! I don't need that, you don't need to spend money on me!" when my dad wants to buy me something. He always buys it for me, too, which leads everyone to be, "God, you're so manipulative!" Haha.

Time to work on my senior project. I go in at 8:15. Along with Kyle. Ha, ha, ha. Out of, what, 200+ seniors I get stuck with him. Dad says it's fate. Barb still says he's being stupid.

Funny thing happened--this older man who was working the polls saw me, and automatically assumed I was a Democrat, so pulled out the Democrat voting sheet. And the other guy was like, "Elaine Duncan... registered Republican," and seemed shocked. The older man stared at me blankly, then beamed, and directed me to the polls. Cracked me the hell up.

All those who can vote today (Super Tuesday!)--do it. Now. I demand you!

BUSH/CHENEY 2004!

Mind you, I am not afraid nor unwilling to cross party vote! But I don't like Kerry. He reminds me of a child molestor. And he's TOO liberal. Bush isn't moderate enough, but, lesser of the two evils. One doesn't have to always agree with a candidate, so before you bitch at me for voting Republican (and the fact that you can't cross-party vote in the primaries, at least here)... don't. Or I'll thwack you over the head with a baseball bat.

No school tomorrow and no field trips due to all the fires, so no Aca Deca music field trip on Wednesday.

A friend on the Aca Deca team has evacuated. I hope he's okay.

It jumped the 118 Freeway at Rocky Peak, going towards houses right now.

No school til Wednesday, I believe.

I want to say this can't get any worse, but I think it can.

Simi Incident has burn 80k acres.

Still farther west, more then 2,000 homes in Simi Valley were in danger from a 60,000-acre fire dubbed the Simi Incident, which sparked Friday when a smaller fire jumped State Route 126 and sped west.

Ventura County fire officials confirmed the loss of 12 homes and said the Union Pacific Railroad has closed all rail lines into Simi Valley.

The fire is on the East and West end. We're in the center, but it's still smoky as hell and scary outside. Our condo complex is covered in ash and soot.
